Rocheforte L. Weeks, Jr.
Rocheforte is a known entrepreneur in Liberia. He was one of a select group of aspiring high school students who was selected to work in various divisions at the Mesurado Group of Companies from 1965, and further developed his business acumen at Auriole Enterprises and Technico-Auriole Engineering companies in later years while enrolled at the University of Liberia. He later attained a business management degree with emphasis in accounting. He is founder of Liberia United Corporation, which provided design, import and engineering services to Government and businesses in Liberia. He continues to provide business advice to emerging businesses.
Ophelia I. Weeks, PhD
Ophelia is broadly experienced. She brings to TWG over thirty-five years of university research, teaching, administration, mentoring, advocacy for girls/women, involvement in development activities, and subscribes to the importance of teamwork. She completed her BSc in Microbiology at McGill University; PhD in Neuroanatomy at Howard University, Postdoctoral Fellowship at Emory University, and rose to Full Professor at Florida International University (FIU). She is an Independent Board Director for Guaranty Trust Bank Liberia; serves on RUFORUM’s International Advisory Panel; is Professor Emerita at FIU, former President of the University of Liberia and former Executive Director of the EJS Presidential Center for Women and Development.
Julius L Weeks (deceased 2024)
Julius had 37+ years’ experience with extensive administrative support for US and Liberian Government institutions, the private sector, non-profits, law firms and consortium organizations providing international development assistance in Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific. He was involved in frontline logistics coordination, event planning, budget development, preparation, and monitoring, proposal writing. Legal administrative support for US Government Contract oversight within the framework of the Committee on Foreign Investments in the US (CFIUS); regulations impacting export compliance matters, audits, cross-border due diligence, and export enforcement. He also provided intellectual property prosecution and infringement litigation and Mergers & Acquisitions administrative support.
Vittorio A. Weeks
Vito is a certified public accountant (CPA), certified management accountant (CMA), and certified fraud examiner (CFE), with 30 years’ experience in the housing, conservation, education, and health care sectors in the United States. He has also worked in accounting firms and dealt extensively with small business and nonprofit organizations in Liberia and the U.S. Vito is a graduate of the University of Liberia (BBA) and Boston University (MBA), and has also done post graduate study in public enterprise economics. He has served in various finance-related positions including treasurer, comptroller, chief accounting officer, business operations director and chief financial officer.
D. Alexander Weeks
Alex is an accomplished IT professional with 30+ years’ experience in hardware, software and training. He works with desktop hardware, servers and networking, and in software development, selection and implementation. His experience in training covers diverse learners - young people and professionals. He has a penchant for technology and has a personal ambition to make technology more accessible for people and businesses. He is currently investigating UAV use in improving land surveys and imaging in Liberia.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering, from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Angelique E. Weeks
Angelique is a transactional attorney and seasoned administrator with 25+ years combined experience in legal, regulatory, policy advice, operational and administrative matters in the USA and Liberia. Since returning to Liberia in 2007, she has worked in various capacities, as chief legal officer and chief regulatory and administrative officer for several Government institutions in the Finance, Maritime, Telecommunications and Electricity sectors, where she represented Liberia in local and international forums. These roles in Government have provided her deep insights into the legal, regulatory and policy landscape of Liberia and abroad; as well as extensive stakeholder engagement experience.
Milton A. Weeks
Milton has worked in several African countries with financial institutions over the last 35 years including serving as CEO for banks in three countries (Liberia, Malawi and Nigeria). He is former Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia; former Board Chair of the National Social Security & Welfare Corporation and served as Head of Secretariat of the Liberia Bankers Association for seven years. Milton has also served as an elected member of the Executive Council of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce and undertaken research on private sector development; business associations; governance and financial services in Liberia. He serves as Chairman of the Board of TWG Corporation.
Ronauld A. Weeks
Ronauld is a Consultant in Advanced Operation Management Solutions – applying machine and software technologies to operations excellence objectives within resource intensive and process manufacturing industries. He has 33+ years’ experience in the Specialty Chemicals, Chemicals, Petro-Chemicals, Upstream/Downstream Oil & Gas, Energy and other Resource intensive industries. This includes engineering, project engineering & management and advanced digital transformation solutions and consulting. He has worked within various technology-oriented entities, ranging from a small privately held company to NYSE multinational conglomerate and NASDAQ traded public company. Ronauld holds a Chemical Engineering degree from University of Virginia School of Engineering.
